Liz Pirnat has a genuine love and appreciation for wine. After teaching herself about wine, she has found a way to make the intimidating world of wine approachable and enjoyable. She believes that wine is a journey that anyone can enjoy.
Liz holds a Diploma of Wine and Spirits (DWS) as well as the Intermediate and Advanced Certificates from the Wine and Spirit Education Trust.
Liz is a French Wine Scholar (FWS) and has a Master Level certificate on Rhone wines. She teaches the French Wine Scholar program in Cleveland.
Liz is currently a student of the Institute of Masters of Wine.
She is a Spanish Wine Educator, a Certified Specialist of Wine (CSW) from the Society of Wine Educators, has passed the Introductory Sommelier Course from the Court of Master Sommeliers and is a Competent Communicator (CC) from Toastmasters International.
Liz teaches the French Wine Scholar Program in Cleveland. This is a new program from the French Wine Society.
